A Litter from the Matriarch of Our Breeding Program.

We are pleased to share that my mom’s German Shepherd litter is now accepting inquiries for approved homes. She is the matriarch of our breeding program, and this special litter represents a thoughtfully planned, once-in-a-lifetime breeding done to preserve the temperament, structure, and qualities of a deeply loved family dog before she was spayed.

The result is a beautiful, well-balanced group of puppies with confident, stable temperaments, strong structure, and the kind of devotion German Shepherds are known for.

About the Parents

Lucy (Dam)

Lucy lives in Windsor with her two adopted sisters, a shepherd rescue and a mixed breed, who are fully convinced these puppies belong to them. This is Lucy’s first and only litter. She had a textbook pregnancy and delivery and has proven herself to be a calm, attentive, and exceptional mother. The puppies have begun the weaning process and are now benefiting from early social lessons as they learn how to be confident, well-mannered country dogs.

Whylie (Sire)

Whylie is a proven producer with a gentle, affectionate personality and a lovable, larger-than-life presence. Indoors, he is a relaxed couch companion. Outdoors, he is playful, energetic, and social with both people and dogs. His previous white and sable puppies have matured into striking, well-rounded family dogs with stable, confident temperaments and strong bonds to their people. Whylie’s offspring are known for their attentiveness to children, natural alertness, and intuitive connection with their families. They turn heads for their looks, but are valued most for their loyalty and character.

Health, Temperament, and Structure

Both parents come from 7th generation White Shepherd lines with straight backs, strong working structure, and proven healthy backgrounds. They are confident, stable dogs who welcome visitors of all ages while remaining deeply devoted to their families.

These puppies are intelligent, people-focused, and highly intuitive. They thrive in homes that understand the responsibility of raising a German Shepherd and value calm leadership, consistency, and positive guidance during their formative months.

How do we assist our future puppy owners with selection?

Puppy selection for a family is a thoughtful and personalized process, typically beginning at around 7-8 weeks of age when the puppies’ personalities start to emerge. At this stage, we can perform temperament testing and use completed puppy questionnaires from prospective owners to guide the matching process. Several factors come into play, such as the family’s dynamics and input, including the number of members and their preferences, as well as the family’s lifestyle. For instance, we will consider the ages and personalities of the household. Activity level is also an important factor, matching puppies to homes where the energy levels align—active puppies might thrive in homes with plenty of stimulation and activity. Special requirements, like whether the dog will be used for therapy work, are also considered. Size is another factor, taking into account the predicted full-grown size of the puppy. While color preferences are noted, the primary goal is a successful placement based on compatibility and the needs of both the puppy and the family. After gathering all necessary information and conducting temperament testing, we usually narrow the choices down to three puppies and invite the family to meet them. This allows the family to observe how the puppies interact with them, as this is a key part of the selection process. Most often, the puppy will choose its human, creating a match made in heaven and a lifelong bond of happiness.
